The Corpus Christi Chamber of Commerce is a member-driven organization whose principle mission is to foster business growth by advocating business issues, enhancing the business climate, and providing services to our members.
Vision: To promote and enhance business growth and prosperity.
The Corpus Christi Chamber of Commerce was first organized in 1924 by a group of local businessman interested in the growth of Corpus Christi. The Corpus Christi Chamber of Commerce has been instrumental in the following projects over the years: the Harbor Bridge, the Port of Corpus Christi, the Corpus Christi Army Depot, the creation of the Texas State Aquarium, the U.S.S. Lexington, and the creation of Texas A & M University at Corpus Christi.
Your Chamber has been working for you since 1924 to make sure Corpus Christi remains a vibrant place to live and do business. The Chamber carries the opinions of its members to city, state, and nationally elected officials, while monitoring legislative issues that impact our business community. The work of the Chamber is financed by the investments of its members. The dues structure is designed to permit even the smallest business to become a member. We work diligently to ensure that Corpus Christi has the best business climate in Texas.

The board is composed of 22 Directors, a Chairman, Chairman-Elect, Immediate Past Chairman, Treasurer, and Secretary for a total of 27 Directors. Their charge is to determine the policies and procedures that direct the activities of the chamber and to develop an annual budget and work program based upon membership input.
